Getting to the Dam”age”
By air through Amsterdam Schipol Airport is obviously the easy way as it takes flights from throughout the world, from there there are regular direct trains to Amsterdam Centraal Station where from there everywhere is accessible. It costs roughly 30 euros for a taxi and takes around the same time as train which is 20 minutes. The train is less than 5 euros.
By Train via the channel tunnel and the Thalys network changing in Belgium although Amsterdam is a gateway for rail all over Europe.
By Sea through Rotterdam or Ijmuiden. Rotterdam is 2 hours drive or train from the port however P&O offer packages including transfers. From Ijmuiden Amsterdam is only 20 minutes by taxi or an hour by bus.
By Road most people think is madness but I assure you its not that far from the UK, only 3-4 hours drive on the other side from Calais. Nice drive too.
